My TV's bigger than yours!
Well, it's not. Maybe it is, maybe not. All I know is that the cinema is planning a Games Night. Basically, after the cinema has closed, (Which would be past midnight) we're all going to play games. Where you ask? This is gonna be so sweet...

Oh God... I'm still in a state of denial... This is gonna rule so much! An all-night-er of games on a screen that's bigger than my bedroom wall!

Aww man...

Whaddaya mean I don't get paid!
Why have I just spent the evening stripping my sisters wallpaper, while she watched "Rat Race" on Sky Movies?

No, I don't know either. I didn't even get a choice!

Now with added training!
Today I got trained on Box Office. Pretty cool, huh? It's really cool, and I also got my first shift on Monday! Man, I can't wait for that... Seriously. It was so much fun and stuff. There really is no downside that I can think of.

One last thing, I have a letter saying that my first day of college is tommorrow. My tutor told me it was the 10th of September. Non of my friends on the same course got the letter. What the hell? Do I go in? Meh, I'll phone up tommorrow.

Fate Doth Shine Upon Thou!
Hmmm... Seems the £1.35 out-of-pocket expense is gone. As I was cleaning out theatres today, I found £1. A start. Later, I got placed on the Crap Wagon (Mobile store) and got a 25 pence tip. (Because the till froze and they didn't want to miss their film.) I had originally put that 25 pence in the till when it unfroze, but my Team Leader re-opened it, and gave me the money. Apparantly it's "Mine". 25 pence... Wow. That's like... Not even a 1st class stamp.

So yeah, I'm not really out of pocket anymore.

On a side note:

Martin (Friend): Hi!

Me: Oh! Hi Martin! Not seen you in ages! What are you going to see?

Martin: Freddy Vs Jason!

Me: ... I'll pretend I didn't hear you say that.

Martin (In loud-ish voice): Why? Don't wanna know what happens in case you get scared?

Me: No. I don't wanna hear that, because it's my job to kick under-age people out. You're younger than me. Unless you want to draw attention, so I have to kick you out and you end up watching something like the Lizzy McGuire movie, I suggest you shut your pie-hole, and go on through before anyone knows.

Martin: Oh... Tahs for letting us in anyway.

Some people are just a wee bit slow...

So yesterday I worked an extra hour, and got a taxi home. Problem was, the taxi was £5.80 and I only get paid £4.45 an hour. So instead of working an hour less and getting the free mini bus home, I worked an hour more and I am now £1.35 out of pocket.

Sometimes, I question my own intellect...

Do Little Red Lights Induce Seizures?
So I got some batteries for my pen yesterday, before work, and it never stopped flashing all night. Just goes to show how many people use Mobile Phones. That was just in the foyeh! Tonight, I have an ushering shift (At last!) so I'll be able to use it properly.

As a side note about last night, I finished my shirt, along with about 3 other people, and we all walked through the door to the staff room, except the girl in front of me, who slipped and fell on her ass. Needless to say, it was hilarious.

Anyway, it turns out that the mini bus driver didn't turn up, so we all got paid taxi's home. Guess who my taxi buddy was? The girl who slipped. I was expecting some dirty looks, but it turns out that she also thought it was hilarious, and we just chatted all the way home. Beats getting attacked in the back of a taxi anyway.
